Abet Technologies, Inc., the emerging leader in the design and manufacture of products for solar cell PV-IV testing, is mounting an exciting exhibit at SPIE’s Optics + Photonics exhibition in San Diego, August 3-5, 2010. Billed by SPIE as the largest optical sciences and technology meeting in North America, offering more than 55 courses and over 200 exhibitors, Optics & Photonics is also the site of the Solar Energy + Technology Technical Conference highlighting topics such as solar hydrogen, thin films, OPVs, and PV cell technologies.
Abet Technologies will be introducing the improved Model10500 Low Cost Solar Simulator, their cost effective alternative to more fully featured and expensive solar simulators for applications that do not require a large area illuminated field. The Model 10500’s innovative optical design delivers one sun output up to a 35 mm diameter illuminated field, and up to three suns over smaller fields.
Abet Technologies exhibit will also feature its family of integrated solutions which include Solar Simulator, Test Station, and an Electronic Load, all operating on their feature-rich, user-friendly ReRaTracer software platform. Selected Test Stations also include light tight enclosures for dark IV measurements and for integration with electro-luminescence cameras. There will be a live PV-IV test system demonstration, so visitors are invited to bring their PV cells for on site measurements.
If you’re planning to attend this year’s Optics + Photonics exhibition, please be sure to visit Abet Technologies at Booth # 617. Sales and engineering staff will be there ready to assist you.
